We are expecting that students are able to explain the equation the linear function y=mx+b. Students should be able to explain the function the slope (m) plays in the equation, the y-intercept (b) and how this function relates to real-world situations. Finally, students will be able to graph the function and use extrapolation and interpolation to make educated decisions.
